GeekyCon brings all of “geekdom” together as thousands expected at three-day fan convention celebrating movies, television, books, music and online programming

Now in its eighth year, GeekyCon is one of the largest and most recognized fan conventions in the country. The event gives attendees the opportunity to geek-out over their favorite movies, television shows, books, music and online content.


GeekyCon values creativity and community over commercialism. Attendees are not charged for autographs or photographs but instead are given an exciting and safe space to connect with one another and participate in discussions, meet-ups and panels.

GeekyCon offers three days of special events, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, workshops, live performances, music concerts and a marketplace with vendors offering a variety of books and merchandise from movies and television shows. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet actors and writers from their favorite television shows and movies, authors of bestselling young adult books, musicians, YouTube personalities and other celebrities and content creators.


Scheduled to appear are more than 100 young adult authors, YouTube personalities and musicians, as well as actors and writers from television shows and movies including the Harry Potter films, “Glee,” “Game of Thrones,” “Supernatural,” “Doctor Who,” “Veronica Mars,” “The Hunger Games,” “Fangirls” and “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.”
